On Thursday September 26, OKI will host a Regional Solar Workshop event where community leaders will be able to learn more about solar technology, hear from local solar experts and developers on barriers that may be preventing this technology in our region and hear representatives from the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability share innovative financing options available for local governments to promote more solar activities.

This event is part of the SunShot Initiative Solar Outreach Partnership, a project funded by the DOE, the National Association of Regional Councils in collaboration with ICMA and ICLEI. Participants will include elected officials, planners, code officials and others interested in solar technology from our region.
